NATURE, AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION
-
The Association is a non-profit association which unites rheumatologists and other medical specialists working and interested in the field of rheumatic diseases.
-
The Association shall be constituted and shall function on the principles of voluntarism, self-governance, self-support, and mandate.
-
OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION AND THE MEANS OF ACHIEVING THE
The main objectives of the ASSOCIATION are:
-
To support the development of national programs and/or strategies to improve the diagnostic approach, prevention, and treatment of rheumatic diseases.
-
To stimulate the scientific and professional growth of the members of the association and
protect their interests. -
To develop models for the education of physicians, population groups at risk for the
development of rheumatic diseases, and patients with these diseases. -
Main tasks to achieve the objectives:
-
To conduct professional-qualification and information activities on the problems of rheumatic diseases by organizing scientific congresses, scientific conferences, courses, workshops and other national, local, or international events.

To develop rules of good medical practice concerning professional values, knowledge, skills, and behavior that rheumatologists can apply in accordance with their experience and professional judgment.

To establish and adopt evidence-based consensus, recommendations, and guidelines that
create conditions for the best possible outcome from the disease. -
To participate in solving specific scientific problems in the field of rheumatology.

To initiate and take part in the development of instructions, guidelines, and other materials on rheumatic diseases.
-
To participate in the development of opinions, analyses, and expert proposals on the application of domestic and foreign advances in the field of rheumatic diseases.
-
To provide scientific and methodological assistance on the problems of rheumatic diseases in the health system of the country.

To give expert opinions on medical cases at the request of controlling and judicial authorities;
-
To participate in the development and updating of medical standards in the specialty; to give proposals for changes in the National Framework Agreement (NFA).

To interact with other scientific medical associations and/or independently organize
scientific events, provide international contacts, and membership in international rheumatology organizations. -
To support the publication of specialized medical literature, information materials for
physicians, risk contingents, and patients with rheumatic diseases, as well as popular scientific
publications on the problems of rheumatic diseases. Provides cooperation with the mass media.
